Giovanni Montisci Modestu Bianco 2022 is a distinctive dry, skin-contact white wine from the mountainous interior of Sardinia, Italy. Produced from old-vine Moscato grapes, the wine undergoes approximately five days of skin maceration, creating an aromatic, textured style that can also be classified as orange wine. It is fermented with indigenous yeasts, aged for around six months in neutral barrels, and bottled without fining or filtration.

The palate is full and expressive, offering flavors of ripe peach, apricot, dried stone fruit and citrus peel, accompanied by white flowers, herbs, gentle spice and a savory mineral finish. Despite Moscato’s naturally aromatic character, Modestu is vinified completely dry, giving it freshness, structure and excellent food-pairing versatility.
