All of our fruit is sourced from elevations of 1,000 feet or higher. In the midst of harvest, usually October, when grapes on the valley floor have been picked or are sitting in fog, our grapes are bathing in sunlight, developing more character and flavor. Budbreak occurs later in mountain vineyards, as does harvest, and, like most things of pristine provenance, these wines need time before theyre ready to come into the world.
