Markus Molitor Ockfener Bockstein Riesling Spatlese is a precise, mineral-driven Riesling from the Ockfener Bockstein vineyard in the Saar sector of Germany’s Mosel region. The steep, southwest-facing vineyard contains grey slate, greywacke, quartzite and sandstone soils, which contribute distinctive minerality and spice. The white capsule (Weisse Kapsel) version is the dry expression. It combines delicate fruit, lively acidity and a pronounced mineral character with an elegant, saline finish.
