Sourced from Chenoweth Vineyard in the heart of the Russian River Valley AVA, a sweet-spot microclimate that’s cool but not too cold. Planted mostly to the Pommard clone, this pinot noir exhibits an elegant balance of fruit and earth. Its bouquet melds dark cherries and wild blue fruits with forest and potpourri fragrances. The fruit flavors are pure and focused with darker tones of marionberry, raspberry and plum skin. Hints of sarsaparilla and toasty sweet spices round the soft structure with silky tannins and bright acid for a lifted, lengthy finish.
