Valenciso 10 Anos Despues Edicion Limitada Rioja 2014 is an exceptional Spanish red wine crafted from 100% Tempranillo grapes grown in selected old vineyards in Rioja Alta. This limited edition wine comes from vines more than 75 years old, rooted in clay limestone soils near Ollauri and Haro. Fermented with indigenous yeasts and matured for an extended period in concrete vats and carefully selected Caucasian oak barrels, it was bottled ten years after harvest. The wine reveals expressive aromas of ripe cherries, dark berries, tobacco, incense and delicate spices. Its elegant, full bodied palate combines concentrated fruit, refreshing acidity, refined tannins and subtle mineral complexity, leading to a long, satisfying finish. An excellent pairing for roasted lamb, braised beef, grilled steak, mushroom dishes and aged Spanish cheeses.
