George Vineyard in the Coombsville AVA of Napa Valley. The vineyard's volcanic soils and cool climate produce a refined, structured wine with exceptional depth and elegance. The 2017 vintage offers expressive aromas of black cherry, plum, violet, dried herbs, graphite, and subtle baking spices. On the palate, it is medium to full-bodied with silky tannins, vibrant acidity, and flavors of dark berries, cassis, cocoa, tobacco, and mineral notes, finishing long and complex. It is an excellent choice for aging and pairs beautifully with grilled steaks, roasted lamb, duck, wild mushrooms, and aged cheeses.
