      Schrader Monastery Block To Kalon Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2023 is an exceptional single-vineyard Napa Valley Cabernet from the western side of the historic To Kalon Vineyard in Oakville. The Monastery Block sits against the Mayacamas foothills beside the Carmelite monastery and contains some of California’s oldest Cabernet Sauvignon vines. The 2023 was produced from Cabernet Sauvignon clones 685, 31 and 169 and aged in 100% new Darnajou and Taransaud French oak barrels.

      Concentrated aromas of blackcurrant, red and black currants, graphite, crushed stone and spicy oak are complemented by floral and mineral nuances. The palate is rich, dense and full-bodied with a fleshy mid-palate, fine-grained tannins, vivid freshness and an exceptionally long, powerful finish.
