Hand-picked, five-plus days on the skins before fermentation and ten days after for rich texture and extraction, followed by ten months perfecting in French oak barrels. The wine is powerful and voluptuous with classic flavors of black cherry and raspberry, subtle hints of mint, herbs and vanilla oak. The finish is long and alluring. Scarlet Vine is deep ruby red, with aromas of ripe berries and toffee alongside aromas of vanilla, soft mocha and sweet spices of vanilla and cloves. It has an intense palate, showing structure, elegance and smooth tannins with a lingering fruity finish.
