A solid Merlot from the heart of the Maipo Valley. Very distinctive character, with soft tannins, loaded with red and dark berries fruit and a nice touch of vanilla and chocolate from its barrel aging. One of the pillars in the Santa Ema portfolio. Nicknamed the "cookies and cream" wine.
Santa Ema Reserve Merlot is hand-picked from high elevation vineyards in Maipo Valley and spends 8-10 months in French and American oak. Generous aromas and flavors of plums and blackberries accompanied by notes of caramel, vanilla, and chocolate.
