ILURCE is the name of our wines. It is what we are, it is the know-how, the enthusiasm that the Escudero family seeks to transmit in every wine, their passion and deep roots in a land.
Bodegas y Viñedos Ilurce is a winery established in 1940, in the D.O. Ca. Rioja (Qualified Denomination of Origin) in the eastern Rioja.
As the fourth generation in a line of growers with an authentic treasure – sixty hectares of exceptional vineyards, with terroirs of very old vines – we have to give thanks to this land every day. Land as the source of wines which are lovingly tended from the moment the grapes begin to appear on the vine.
The most characteristic thing about this company is the hard work of its owners trying to use current technologies with respect to the traditions.
