The 2021 Legacy Collection Merlot is a vibrant and complex wine. Fresh plum takes center Merlot stage on the palate, accompanied by aromatic notes of the subtle warmth of cedar Merlot and a hint of mint. Baking spice and nutmeg emerge on the nose, lending a Merlot layer of complexity that enhances the overall profile. Dark cherry and dried cranberry flavors contribute to the wine’s dynamic character, creating a Merlot harmonious blend of ripe fruit and subtle tartness. The supple tannins provide a smooth and elegant finish, rounding out this Merlot.
