Muruve Reserva is a red wine made by Bodegas Frutos Villar, the first winery to establish itself and sell wine in Toro.\n This wine is made 100% with Tinta de Toro grapes from the winery's vineyards. It goes through a traditional maceration in stainless steel deposits, with the grapes completely destemmed, with 3 or 4 pump-overs per day, at a controlled temperature of 28-30ºC for 15-20 days.\n It ages for 12 to 20 months with rackings every 3 to 6 months in American (90%) and French (10%) oak barrels.\n The wine ages in the bottle for at least 12 months before going on sale. The bottles are laid down on metal scantling in an isolated vessel in which the temperature never exceeds 18ºC.
