This wine is obtained from the best batches of Nerello Mascalese which have been selected for the perfect polyphenolic maturation. The long maceration at low temperature allows a complete extraction of the components, creating a wine in which the true potential of these particular grapes and the Etna terroir are enhanced.\n\nThe particular elegance of the tannins combined with a remarkable concentration determines a great sensorial complexity in which the mineral taste of the black sands of the volcano is highlighted in a very fine way. Alongside these characteristics, spicy notes are perceived that combine in a very pleasant way with the fruitiness of the grapes and traces of vanilla and toasted hazelnuts are felt in the aftertaste.
