The Movia estate dates back to 1700, passing into the hands of the Kristančič family with a wedding in 1820. The estate extends over 22 ha of land, about half of which lies on the Italian side of the Goriška Brda (hills of Gorizia) – Collio. Movia is more than a mere wine brand and the name of an estate on the borderland between Slovenia (Goriška Brda) and Italy (DOC Collio).
