The 2012 growing season has created some amazing expressions (though at times it was a bit of a challenge for the winemakers), and this one certainly fits the bill. There's a distinct focus on Pinot Noir here – the blend is made with 41% Chardonnay and 38% Pinot noir, just a couple percent shy of being completely equal (there's also 21% Meunier in there too). The result is deliciously autumnal, with notes of honey, ripe orchard fruit, and dried flowers.
