Mary Taylor Jacqueline Delaunay Muscadet Sèvre et Maine is a classic Loire Valley white made from Melon de Bourgogne. Fruit comes from vineyards around Le Loroux-Bottereau planted on stony gneiss, amphibolite and schist soils. Fermentation takes place with ambient yeasts in glass-lined cement tanks, followed by extended aging on the lees, giving the wine its characteristic combination of citrus freshness, saline minerality and subtle creamy texture.
