Las Jaras Chardonnay Sta. Rita Hills 2021 is a mineral-driven, cool-climate Chardonnay from organically farmed blocks at Spear Vineyard in California’s Sta. Rita Hills. The wine was whole-cluster pressed, naturally fermented in a mix of new and used large-format barrels, aged for nearly a year in barrel, then rested for an additional six months in stainless steel. It is unfined and unfiltered, giving the wine a textured yet precise character with excellent freshness and tension.
