      La Medida Mezcal Tepeztate is an artisanal mezcal from Oaxaca, Mexico, made from 100% Tepeztate agave (Agave marmorata). The agave can take roughly 20–25 years to mature in the wild. Traditionally produced using an earthen oven, stone tahona, open-air wooden fermentation tanks and double distillation in copper pot stills, this mezcal offers a distinctive combination of vegetal, floral, fruity and mineral character.

      Complex aromas of green banana, delicate flowers, fresh bell pepper and herbs lead into a rich palate with ripe fruit, mineral and vegetal notes. Subtle peppery spice complements the earthy agave character, followed by a long, expressive finish.
