Bringing together two worlds, this special edition from Kentucky Owl combines bourbon whiskey with the art of Japanese whisky blending. Only available for the UK market, Takumi – Japanese for ‘master’ – is a blend designed by master blender Yusuke Yahisa from Nagahama and John Rhea from Kentucky Owl. As a blend of four, five, six and 13-year-old bourbons, the nose offers aromas of savoury rye bread, sweet caramel and tangy fruit salad. The palate is greeted with notes of a buttery mix of rye and caramel, followed by cinnamon and orchard fruits.
