The Durant 2022 is medium-dark, youthful, rich ruby-red with beautiful light and transparency. It has the classic Dundee Hills nose of perfectly sun-ripe Oregon strawberries and subtle spices along with soft minerals. The mouth is the same, with a delicious sappiness and luxe texture without the heaviness. The structure is there in a way that is more pixelated than linear at the time of this tasting. Long finish.
