Candied fruit, purple flowers, red roses, pomegranate, cream. Violets and grenadine on a light bodied palate. Fontaleoni is currently run by brother and sister Matteo and Simona, carrying on the legacy of their father and grandparents. The family moved from the Marche to Tuscany in the 1950s to establish the Fontaleoni estate. It's a lovely family affair, with steep slopes and careful care in the vineyards and cellar. They produce traditional yet extremely thoughtful wines. 100% Sangiovese.
