Fidencio Madrecuixe Mezcal is a small-production artisanal mezcal made from wild Madrecuixe (Agave karwinskii), harvested after roughly 12–18 years of growth. Produced by Maestro Mezcalero Enrique Jiménez in Santiago Matatlán, Oaxaca, the agave is roasted in an earthen pit, crushed by tahona, naturally fermented in pine vats, and double distilled in copper stills. The result is a bold, mineral-driven mezcal with sweet smoke, roasted agave, earthy and herbal complexity.
