Familia Deicas Preludio Barrel Select Lote 106 2016 is a premium Uruguayan red blend made from a rigorous selection of the finest barrels. The blend combines 34% Merlot, 25% Tannat, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon, with smaller portions of Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Marselan. It was matured for approximately 22 to 30 months in oak barrels, developing impressive depth and structure.

The wine offers concentrated aromas of ripe blackberry, blueberry, black cherry, dried figs, vanilla, cocoa and spices. The palate is full-bodied and structured, with lively acidity, firm yet polished tannins, dark-fruit flavours and lingering notes of liquorice, chocolate, plum and graphite.
