Ex Post Facto Syrah Perilune Santa Rita Hills 2022 750 ML (12 Bottle)
Ex Post Facto Perilune Syrah 2022 is an exceptional cool climate red wine from the prestigious Santa Rita Hills appellation in Santa Barbara County, California. Crafted by acclaimed winemaker Greg Brewer, this limited production Syrah comes entirely from Perilune Vineyard, showcasing the elegance, freshness, and savory complexity of the region.
The wine opens with expressive aromas of blackberries, raspberries, violets, cracked black pepper, and dried herbs. The medium bodied palate reveals layers of dark cherries, wild berries, olive, and smoky spice, supported by refined tannins and vibrant acidity.
Fermented using whole grape clusters and matured in neutral oak, this sophisticated Syrah offers a beautifully balanced structure and a long, savory finish. It pairs wonderfully with grilled lamb, roasted duck, smoked meats, mushroom dishes, and aged cheeses
