Regnie is a supple wine in a cherry red robe with purple tints and red currant aromas and flavours.\n \n Producer Information\n Founded in 1920, Domaine Laforest has been a family-run estate in the heart of the Beaujolais region for four generations. Jean-Marc Laforest took over the existing sharecropping from his parents and since then the family business has strongly increased, centering around the sale of bottled wines. There are no other employees outside of the seasonal harvesters and pruners. Today, the estate covers 20 hectares (49.42 acres) and sells 100 000 bottles of wine a year from a wide range of wines. In January 2016 both sons, Thomas and Pierre, joined the family business and created an EARL society.
