This wine shows brilliant Sangiovese character of sour cherry and Macchia Mediterranea with a persistent finish that is both dry and balanced.\n \n Producer Information\n Citra Vini is a huge community of winegrowers in the Abruzzo region of Italy. The group produces a range of wines too many to list, covering a myriad of varieties from Montepulciano and Trebbiano to Pecorino. There is a particular focus on growing the grape varieties most significant to the Abruzzo province of Chieti. The supergroup was founded in 1973. It comprises of around 3,000 families growing grapes across 6000 hectares. Nine winegrowers associations and wineries are then used to process around 20,000 bottles of wine per hour.
