Chateau Haut-Gaudin is located in the Bordeaux Superieur appellation in the right bank of Bordeaux. It has been in the Dubourg family since 1870. Today, the property is managed by Benoit Dubourg. The vineyard is located in between the areas of Capian and Villenave de Rions, known for producing qualitative red wines. It is 12 hectares (30 acres) in size with 20 year old vines on clay limestone soils. After harvest, the wine is fermented in stainless steel tanks. It is then aged in tanks and in neutral oak before botting. Estate grown and bottled. This utilizes organic practices.
