Chateau Haut Brion is often identifiable by its smoky notes of cigar, cedar and chocolate and by its characteristic restraint. On palate this wine is always marked more by finesse than power, and this is perceived all the way to the finish whose length highlights this delicate style. The tannins are precise and very soft. Le Clarence de Haut-Brion replaced Les Bahans Haut-Brion as the second wine of Chateau Haut-Brion from 2007.
