Kurt Charron had the idea to create Chareau, a liqueur based on the Aloe Vera plant and enlisted the talented Lance Winters at St. George Spirits to produce his new liqueur. Chareau is based on unaged wine eau-de-vie with fresh aloe vera juice cucumber, muskmelon, lemon peel, spearmint and sugar. All the ingredients used to make Chareau are soured locally to the distillery in California, where possible from organic family-owned farms. Kurt named his Chareau after his great-grandparents Arthur Emile Charron and Florence Marie Favreau who were farmers who settled in California
