Bodegas Valduero Ribera del Duero Reserva 2016, also known as Valduero Reserva de 2 Cotas, is a powerful and mature Spanish red wine made entirely from high-altitude Tempranillo grapes. The grapes are harvested and selected by hand before fermentation and extended maturation for approximately 30 months in oak barrels, followed by another 30 months in bottle. Deep garnet in color, it offers complex aromas of blackberry, cassis, coffee, tobacco, cedar and subtle menthol. The palate is full-bodied and structured, with velvety yet firm tannins, black cherry, fig, chocolate, eucalyptus and spice, leading to a long, persistent finish.
