Bodegas Fernandez de Pierola, in its commitment to sustainable development, has conceived in Bodegas Traslascuestas an eco-efficient building and respectful with the environment, that manages to reach 100% of their thermal requirements thanks to geothermal energy, stood as the pioneer in its application in the Denominacion de Origen Ribera de Duero.
The philosophy of Traslascuestas is the development of high quality wines, with a profile of tasting where you can appreciate a very unique features, whereas the vineyard a determining factor in the quality, without forgetting the winemaking technique, to get powerful well structured wines, with body, where they are assembled and balanced aromas derived from the Tempranillo with those developed in a good and patient parenting, for complex, intense and elegant wines.
