Made from 100% old-vine Garnacha, this wine shows a vivid garnet color with juicy red fruit, black and white pepper spice, coffee accents, minerality, and firm but elegant tannins. The vines are planted in the historic Valley of Valdizarbe, with vineyard plantings dating from 1890 to 1960, giving the wine depth, concentration, and old-vine character. It is aged for 7 months in second-use French oak barrels, creating a balanced, spicy, and refined red wine style.
