The vines are planted in the historic Valley of Valdizarbe, with vineyard plantings dating from 1890 to 1960, giving the wine depth, concentration, and old-vine character. It is aged for 7 months in second-use French oak barrels, creating a balanced, spicy, and refined red wine style.
