Truly exquisite Sancerre from 70-80 year old vines planted in Kimmeridgian Marl (crushed prehistoric seashells and clay). This cuvee is vinified in used barrel for added depth and structure. It displays a wonderful white peach nose flecked with herbs, lime, and flint. These notes continue on to a palate of clean precision, late emerging acidity, and minerality for days.
