The 2020 Chardonnay Luigi Bosca from the Uco Valley was aged for eight months in French oak. Yellow with a golden sheen. The complex nose features pear, herbs and lime over a bed of creamed corn. Warm and voluminous on the palate, it gets a little spiky as the alcohol from the warm year (14.1%) ratchets up the intensity, but this is compensated for by the precise freshness. Ends with a lovely bold aftertaste.
