Maculan Cabernet Sauvignon Palazzotto 2021 is an elegant, full-bodied Italian red wine produced by the renowned Maculan winery in the Breganze DOC of Veneto. Crafted from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon grown on volcanic and tuffaceous hillside vineyards, the wine is fermented in stainless steel and aged for one year in French oak barriques, half new and half second-use. It offers intense aromas of red berries, cassis, blackcurrant, licorice, and subtle spice. The palate is dry, rich, and beautifully balanced with fine-grained tannins, notes of cedar, oak, dark fruit, and a long, refined finish. An excellent pairing for grilled steaks, roasted lamb, braised meats, game, and aged cheeses.
