This is an eau de vie made from combining a mixture of neutral spirit and the maceration (basically soaking in alcohol) of fresh unfermented wild raspberries from the Carpathians and the resulting mash is distilled in small copper pot stills. It does not use cheap bulk ethanol and chemical flavors like some (O. K., most) of its competitors. It uses a much more true (but expensive) process.\n\nAppearance: Clear bright, on swirling it leaves a thick clear coat on the inside of the glass and shows some extremely long legs legs. The blending of the alcohol and the essence of raspberry is difficult at best and in this case faultless.
