Marcarini Barolo Brunate 2018 is a 100% Nebbiolo red wine from Piedmont, Italy. It's a powerful, broad wine with notes of spice, balsamic, dark cherry, plum, leather, menthol, incense, and dried herbs. The grapes are grown in a high-altitude vineyard with southern exposure and complex soils, and undergo traditional submerged cap fermentation. The wine then spends two years in botti grande and an additional year in bottle before release.
