Olivier Leflaive Volnay 1er Cru Clos des Angles 2023 is a refined Premier Cru red Burgundy made entirely from Pinot Noir. The vineyard sits at roughly 250–300 meters on southeast-facing, limestone- and clay-influenced soils. The grapes are manually harvested and fully destemmed, followed by 21 days of fermentation and maceration. The wine is matured for 16 months, primarily in oak barrels with approximately 20% new oak, producing a concentrated yet elegant expression of Volnay.
