Lucien Boillot & Fils Gevrey-Chambertin 2022 is a classic red Burgundy produced from 100% Pinot Noir sourced from multiple parcels across Gevrey-Chambertin. It combines ripe red and dark berry fruit with violet, rose, subtle earth, and spice. The palate is rich and structured with velvety tannins and a long, elegant finish. The wine is aged in oak barrels for approximately 16 to 18 months, with up to 30% new oak.
Testing Note
Vibrant ruby red with aromas of strawberry, blackberry, violet, rose, and well-integrated oak. The palate is rich, powerful, and structured, with ripe red fruit, fine velvety tannins, and subtle earthy and undergrowth notes on the finish.
