This is a well-balanced wine with a lingering finish. Scents of sweet raspberry, spice, and cinnabon open to ripe fruit flavors of raspberry, cherry with root beer notes. The finish is delicious and warm showing toast, caramel and well-integrated oak.\n\nAfter the grapes are hand harvested and pressed, fermentation takes place in tanks before being transferred to barrels. All wines undergo native fermentation. Ramonet believes that the gross lees contribute good elements to the the wine so they do not allow them to settle out after pressing.
