The palate is juicy with soft tannins, the fruit persists to the finish which is slightly drying and of medium length.\n \n Producer Information\n Mottura’s vineyards are located in the Salento region in Italy’s deep south, in the sunny heel-tip of the famous boot. Family run since its founding in 1927, the winery maintains a longstanding commitment to native grapes of the region including the Primitivo and the Negroamaro. The vineyards are between 10 and 60 years old and soils are either volcanic red earths or calcareous white soils, producing intense and full-bodied wines.
