Heir of generations of winemakers, Paul Fournier took over the family estate in 1950 with only 2 hectares of vineyard. Since, as the family has grown, the area experienced the same evolution. Since Jacques and Claude are working in the vineyard, are responsible for the winemaking and the marketing, they have worked as well on the domain extension, which extends from the early 1990s over 60 hectares distributed over the best terroirs of the three appellations in the Centrum of the Loire: Sancerre, Pouilly-Fume and Menetou Salon. The Villebois family has been at the head of the estate since 2015.
