Charles Lafitte is a sparkling wine brand produced at Domaine Royal de Jarras, a fabulous Estate located in the Camargue region, in the south of France, along the Mediterranean Sea, where the biodiversity inventory reveals the high ecological and environmental quality of this sandy area. This region was listed as an 'European Natura 2000 Preserve' in recognition of the rare and threatened plant and animal species that live there. The Vignoble des Sables ('sandy vineyard') are grown in our sandy soils and cultivated respecting the unique flora and fauna of Camargue. Charles Lafitte sparkling wines are elaborated in the Methode Traditionnelle, including a secondary fermentation in the bottle. Grapes are sourced from our vineyards grown on the sandy soils at Domaine de Jarras, bringing a pleasant freshness and minerality to the sparkling wine.
