Matt Taylor Wines Komorebi Vineyard Chardonnay 2021 is a distinctive, site-driven Chardonnay from the cool West Sonoma Coast of California. The fruit comes from the estate’s Komorebi Vineyard, located only a few miles from the Pacific Ocean and farmed using organic, biodynamic, and dry-farming practices. The wine is 100% whole-cluster pressed, fermented in concrete egg, then aged for 20 months in neutral 600-liter demi-muids followed by nearly one year of bottle aging. This restrained winemaking approach emphasizes freshness, texture, minerality, coastal salinity, and the character of the vineyard.
