The Army Commandant Mr. Rafael Cruz Conde Founded The Cellar In 1902 In Order To Produce Age And Commercialize The Best Wines From Montilla-Moriles Area: Generous Wines White Wines Pedro Ximenez Sweet Wines And Brandies. As A Result Of The Intense Wine Activity Cruz Conde Became One Of The Most Important Wineries In The Area Equipped With A Great Infrastructure. The Activity Development Enabled The Construction Of A Subterranean Cellar Composed By 6 Vaulted Naves And Other Cellars With An Exceptional Architecture. With A Surface Of 14.000 M2 The Winery Is Located In The Heart Of The City Of Montilla. The Winery Has 8.000 Barrels (Called “Botas” In Spanish) Situated At The Most Appropriate Places For The Aging Of The Wines. There Are Also Several Recent Facilities Dedicated To The Wine-Making And Aging Processes.
