A collaboration between Italian TV journalist Bruno Vespa & winemaker Riccardo Cottarello, it is their passionate mission to raise the quality and critical opinion of Primitivo (and the wines of Apuglia) to be the equal to the more famous Northern cousins – Barolo, Brunello and Chianti. Their mission is to produce the best red wines South of Rome. Helena is a Nero di Troia is named after Helen of Troy, the face that launched a thousand ships, of the Trojan Wars. In its first vintage, the wine has already lived up to its legendary name and has taken on important stages, including Buckingham Palace.
