Valduero Una Cepa is a red wine from the Ribera del Duero region of Spain. It is a single-variety Tempranillo wine made from grapes grown without irrigation or chemical fertilizer. The grapes are hand-picked and fermented for nine days at temperatures between 23–28°C. The wine is aged for 18 months in American and French oak barrels.\n \n \n The wine has a complex and intense aroma with notes of cherry, strawberry, pepper, dry herbs, leather, and vanilla. It has a long finish and a well-structured palate with smooth tannins and elegant acidity.\n \n \n Valduero Una Cepa is produced by the historic Valduero winery in Gumiel de Mercado. The wine is limited in production, hence the name "strain".
