The grapes for this are cultivated with care in the arid and continental environs where Mount Lebanon and the Anti-Lebanon mountain ranges intersect.\n\nMassaya Cap Est is grown on the north-easterly hillsides of the Beqaa Valley at an altitude of 1200 metres in the Ras Baalbeck area.\n\nOnly the best grapes are handpicked then vinified at the Tanaïl winery. The vinification takes at least 30 days in temperature controlled oak vats, followed by 22 more months in oak vats before bottling without fining or filtering.
