Ken Wright Cellars Tanager Pinot Noir 2018 1.5 L is a limited-production, single-vineyard Pinot Noir from the renowned Tanager Vineyard in the Yamhill-Carlton AVA of Oregon's Willamette Valley. Crafted from 100% Pinot Noir grown on marine sedimentary Willakenzie soils, the wine is fermented in small lots with a five-day cold soak and aged for 10 months in French oak barrels. The 2018 vintage is celebrated for its elegance, purity, and exceptional vineyard expression. It opens with enticing aromas of red plum, cranberry, cherry, cinnamon, tobacco, floral notes, and forest floor. The palate is silky and vibrant, revealing flavors of black raspberry, cherry cola, baking spice, mocha, and earthy minerality, supported by fine tannins and a long, graceful finish.
